We’re all on a journey
Therapy can help you to understand how you got where you are and guide you to where you want to go next and who you want to be when you get there.
A safe space online to work through whatever happened in your past, or is happening in your present. It can help you move confidently, at your own pace, towards the beginning of something new.

If you’re here, I’m guessing it is because you want something in your life to feel different to how it feels now.
- For the ones starting over - in cultural spaces they don’t yet understand, in languages they are still learning, building a career without an existing network.
- For the ones who feel stuck in a cycle of overdoing, overthinking, over performing - but still nothing seems to be enough.
- Or for the ones at the other end of the spectrum, stuck in procrastination and avoidance even though they know just what to do.
- For the brave and courageous ones creating new paths for themselves but who also long to lay down the weight of complicated family relationships.
- And for the lonely, sad, angry, and anxious ones, refusing to give up hope that there might be a different way to live - if they just had support.
Welcome.
Waiting for you at the other side of a therapy journey might be
- New behaviours and/or skills
- Release from old patterns of thinking
- Experiencing a more positive attitude and feelings
- Building bridges in relationships
- The courage to let go of ways of being that are no longer helpful
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. My 100% confidential, individual sessions are for you to finally have a space to be supported, listened to, and cared for as we work towards the changes you want to see in your life.
If I didn't have a therapist who understands and supports me the way you always have, I would never have found 'my place in the world.
Hi I’m Flavia,
a Brazilian born licensed psychologist who first relocated at the age of 2 weeks old and has lived across multiple continents and cultures since.
Movement is in my genes.
I know what it’s like to start over - geographically, psychologically, socially. My practice is built not just through what I ‘ve learnt in my head, but what I’ve experienced in my heart. Moving abroad and stepping out of my comfort zone time and time again has shaped so much of what I do and how I do it.
I’m a fully licensed psychologist and have practiced in Brazil, Japan, Singapore and Austria. I co-authored a chapter of Cultural Humility from the perspective of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK and now offer online therapy sessions around the world from my current expat base in Saudi Arabia.
And when I’m not delivering therapy sessions, you’ll find me enjoying time with my husband and children, out in nature (beaches, parks, mountains) and discovering the world through travel. I also practice meditation – and singing too, when I can.
This is not a ‘transform your life in 7 minutes’ kind of space. I believe good quality therapy takes time, curiosity, and the right kind of support for you to regain your confidence and sense of self, wherever you are in the world.
On the other hand it's not a never ending process, either. I support you towards the results you want. And when we part ways you’ll feel ready to be your own therapist.
If I'm doing well the way I am, it's because you came into my life. Much of what I came to know and recognise in myself was thanks to your support and professionalism. You filled me with care and gave me the tools to be able to do what I'm able to do today.
Good therapy starts with finding the right therapist.
I believe the relationship with your therapist matters as much as the method they use or the qualifications they have.
You are not a diagnosis - you are a human living a full life across countries and cultures.
You deserve a therapist who will meet you where you are.
I want you to be listened to, with empathy. To feel understood and supported to rebuild your confidence and trust in yourself.
And to see real, actual change and genuine improvement in your life.
It’s why every enquiry starts with a free confidential conversation to give us both the chance to see if there is a match.
And it’s why I will always be honest about whether I can confidently offer the kind of support you deserve and need.
If you’re considering working with me, please let me first invite you for a free 30 minute online call to see if you feel comfortable and confident on going on this journey with me.
Thanks to the courage you helped me build, work stopped being the biggest source of stress in my life and became another reason for joy.
Your questions, answered
I'm a therapist - of course I hold space for questions. Even on my website :) If you don't see an answer to your question here, please feel free to reach out to me
Why are your therapy sessions held online?
I've worked online since well before the pandemic and the people I work with are usually based all over the world. If/when they move cities or countries (or continents!), working online means we don’t have to interrupt the relationship and they can benefit from my support wherever they are.
What kinds of things do people come to you with?
People come with a wide range of feelings or challenges they are facing. Something at work that’s not working. A marriage that is feeling the strain or friendships that haven’t kept up with a new life stage that you’ve moved into. Moving to a new place brings its own unique set of questions and shifts - identity, belonging and self trust. Please join me for a free intro call and we can explore what’s going on for you, together.
What happens in the free intro call?
Before we start working together, we have a thirty-minute conversation by video. It’s free, and there for both of us. You can tell me about what’s bringing you to therapy and ask me anything you want to know. This time is for you to be able to make a confident decision to go forward with me as your therapist. And for me to understand if I can support you in the way you deserve.
Do you work with any one/any diagnosis?
It’s important that you work with a therapist who is set up to support you as safely and wisely as possible. The core of my work supports adults and because my sessions are online, I don’t offer therapy for anyone working through substance abuse, psychosis or borderline personality disorder. If you need support that I don’t offer, I am always happy to help you find a therapist that might be more suitable.
I live in a different time zone – can I still work with you?
Many of my clients do, so this usually isn't a problem. The timezone where I am currently based is UTC+3, so if you are in any location within 5/6 hour time difference (like UK, Singapore, Turkey or South Africa) we should be able to find a suitable time to meet. If you're unsure please feel free to contact me so we can work it out together.
When your life involves moving across cultures and countries and (quite literally) customs, therapy can be a valuable anchor and a safe space for you to make sense of who you are and, what you feel and We can work together to support your inner growth, create the change you want to see and find your way forward or back to yourself. All while enjoying the ride as you go!
